Privacy Policy

Effective July 10, 2026

This policy describes what information Package Tracker ("the app", "we") collects, why, and how you can control or remove it. We built this app to do one narrow job — track your packages — and we've tried to collect only what's actually needed to do that job.

What we collect

Forwarded email content (opt-in) If you choose to forward shipping confirmation emails to your unique Package Tracker address, the sender, subject, and body text of that forwarded email only is processed to extract a tracking number, retailer name, and delivery status To automatically add and update packages without you typing in tracking numbers by hand — entirely optional, and you can turn it off at any time (see "Your choices" below)

What we don't collect

How your data is used

Your package data is used exclusively to show you your own shipments inside the app. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.

Who we share data with

We rely on a small number of service providers to make the app work. Each only receives the specific data it needs to perform its function:

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If a shipment is no longer tracked by any user, its carrier data is automatically removed. If you delete your account (see below), everything tied to it — package data, shipment history, tracking events — is permanently deleted immediately, not just hidden.

Your choices

Children's privacy

Package Tracker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
